Eva Beneke is an international performer and passionate collaborator. Associate Professor of Guitar at Norges Musikkhøgskolen (The Norwegian Academy of Music) in Oslo. She holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, and a solo artist diploma from the Franz Liszt Hochschule in Weimar, Germany.

Eva is the initiator of « Netzwerk Gitarre Berlin », a network focussing on the representation and support of women in classical guitar.

Highlights of her career include appearances with the German Symphony Orchestra under Kent Nagano, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and invitations to festivals in Peru, Mexico, Germany, Lithuania, the U.S., China and Thailand, as well as a televised performance with famed singer Carrie Underwood.
Her latest album is a NAXOS recording of Fernando Sor ́s “Complete Works for Voice and Guitar” with mezzo-soprano Nerea Berraondo.

Eva is based in Berlin where she lives with her husband and their cat Einstein.
