The classical guitar duet « Folia » was formed in 2012 while studying at the Academic College of Music at the Moscow State Conservatory.
Members of the ensemble are laureates of international competitions Karina Bezdudnaya and Nika Matveeva.
The ensemble’s repertoire includes lute music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, works by recognized guitar classics and modern academic music of the 20th and 21st centuries. The duet has repeatedly become a laureate of all-Russian and international competitions. The ensemble performs at various events, art exhibitions, creating a special atmosphere.
The duet is also engaged in educational activities, performs at schools, and organizes concerts and lectures.
