Lilith Guégamian was born in Armenia. Arrived in France at the age of 4, she took an early interest in music and pursued musical studies which gradually led her to a gold medal in classical guitar (class of Tania Chagnot). At the same time, she took lessons in harmony and counterpoint.
First guitarist of the tango quintet « Tres y dos », then of the singer Céline Blasco, Lilith began to perform solo in 2006… His concert program consists of pieces for guitar of his own composition (published by Rubin then by Productions of Oz, and prefaced by Roland Dyens), is sometimes enriched with songs from her native Armenia that she revisits and arranges. She has recorded three solo albums: « Enlightened by a Firefly » in 2007, « Passage… » in 2009, and « In the Middle of Immensity » in 2018.
Composition has always had a very important place in the artistic development of Lilith Guégamian. In addition to pieces for guitar, she regularly composes music for theater and dance.
Lilith Guégamian teaches classical guitar as a PEA at Villefranche-sur-Saône since 2008.
