With 30 years of experience as a Classical Guitar Teacher, Nadia has established herself as a leading Classical Guitar teacher in Melbourne, Australia. Nadia has taught at various schools in Melbourne and in Germany (where she lived for ten years, and worked as a performer and teacher). She has had significant experience teaching students of high calibre. Whilst living in Germany, she taught at the University of Cologne.
Recently she trained in the Suzuki Method for Guitar, wholeheartedly embracing the philosophy that « every child can », and ‘with love, anything can be accomplished’.
Whilst Nadia’s current focus is on the highest possible standard of teaching, she takes any opportunity to perform as soloist, and in ensemble situations.
She has performed regularly both in Australia and overseas, with flute & guitar, voice and guitar, guitar & string quartet, Renaissance ensemble (on lute) touring Germany, guitar and harpsichord, to name a few.
Her special interest area is in the management of performance anxiety specifically for classical guitarists, and has lectured on this topic internationally.
