Nicola Yasmin Stock (*1998/Germany) has won an impressive number of prizes at national and international guitar competitions (e.g. Pleven International Guitar Festival/Bulgaria). She studied classical guitar with Prof. Gerhard Reichenbach at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne/Wuppertal. Apart from her current studies of musicology at the Robert Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf, she works as a lecturer at the Juniorzupforchester NRW and teaches at the Bergische Musikschule as well as for the mandolin orchestra Hüls e.V.
Nicola Yasmin Stock is an active member of several chamber music ensembles and orchestras and conducts the mandolin and guitar orchestra Dortmund e.V.
Since she focuses on playing the lesser-known guitar works of women composers, she received a scholarship prize from the gender equality committee of the HfMT Cologne in 2017.
She has also held a scholarship of YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now e.V. for several years. Furthermore, she engages in interdisciplinary projects, for instance at the Kolleg für Musik und Kunst in Montepulciano/IT.
